A Tetris movie is presently in the works. It's being presented as "...a very big, epic sci-fi movie."
Think about that for a second.
HOW WOULD THIS WORK?! IT'S TETRIS, IT HAS NO STORY! THIS THE DUMBEST IDEA I'VE EVER HEARD!
Apologies for the excessive capitalization, but I'm just so confused and angry about this. If you're going to do a video game movie, do it for something with a story. Like Legend of Zelda or something.
Seriously, who thought that this was a good idea? Did you think this was going to be a blockbuster? I mean, the game is (Rimshot), but a movie? And sci-fi? How is this a sci-fi movie?
COMING SOON:
A UNIVERSE HANGS IN THE BALANCE, AND THE ONLY THING THAT CAN SAVE IT IS ORGANIZING FALLING BLOCKS INTO A STRAIGHT LINE.
TETRIS: THE MOVIE.
Great, what's next? Space Invaders? Pac-Man? Hell, why limit it to video games? Why not board games? Why not a Monopoly movie, or a Battleship movie. Wait...
